Buck Lake, Alberta Overnight residential camp Est. 2025
An overnight volleyball camp at Buck Lake — where elite coaching meets lakefront summer.
The concept
Buck Lake Volleyball Camp combines structured competitive volleyball training with the full overnight camp experience — on one of Alberta's most beautiful lakefront properties.
Athletes develop their game in a focused, coach-led environment — then step outside to the lake, the firepit, and the friendships that define a great summer. This is not a day clinic. It's a multi-day residential program designed to challenge athletes on the court and build bonds off it.
What's included
Full-size indoor courts with professional nets for technical development sessions.
Sand and grass courts on the lakefront for competitive and recreational play.
Situated on the shores of Buck Lake, Alberta — remote, beautiful, and purpose-built.
Structured team-building designed to build chemistry and communication on and off court.
On-site mini golf for recreational time between training sessions and evenings.
Evening campfire gatherings — the unofficial heart of any great camp experience.
Full meal service throughout the program. Dietary requirements accommodated with advance notice.
Supervised cabin-style lodging on-site. Boys and girls in separate facilities.

Volleyball training
The volleyball program at Buck Lake is designed and led by experienced coaches from the YYC Eagles Volleyball Club. Training sessions are structured, purposeful, and organized around athlete development — not filler drills.
Each session runs multiple training blocks per day across full-size indoor and outdoor courts. Athletes work in position-specific groups, team systems, and competitive game formats calibrated to the age group and skill level of each session.
Off the court
The game is important — but so is what happens between sessions. Buck Lake's lakefront setting creates a camp atmosphere that athletes carry with them long after the season ends.
